Following the design success of Arcadia Earth NY, the summer of 2021 marked the introduction of Arcadia Earth Las Vegas. Aligned with the original concept, the Las Vegas installation aimed to offer an innovative and multi-sensory journey to inspire visitors to actively contribute to a more sustainable future. What set this iteration apart was the integration of enhanced technology, a more expansive space, and the inclusion of additional artists, offering an even more impactful exploration of environmental awareness and sustainability on a grander scale.
With over 18 meticulously designed rooms, each immersing visitors in specific environmental themes. These spaces blend immersion, interactivity, and Instagrammable moments, captivating on various sensory levels. Many rooms were crafted by artists using exclusively upcycled and recycled materials, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and offering a unique eco-conscious experience.
The structure was designed to replicate an underwater aquarium. The arched shape allows guests to feel fully immersed in the environment. Various marine settings were created to illustrate marine biodiversity. Through the integration of technological tools and accurate environmental information, these digital environments construct imaginary yet realistic worlds for guests to explore and interact with.
To enhance the experience, several rooms were designed to be interactive, engaging all senses, including scent and taste. The emphasis on interactivity within the physical space was crucial for this version, elevating the overall immersive journey for visitors.
Augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping, and even robotic machines played a crucial role in this experience, seamlessly integrating the digital world with the physical space.
